
Farrah Cheriet is a bilingual registered provisional psychologist who is committed to supporting diverse populations, including those facing challenges related to cultural adjustment, complex identities, and neurodiversity. Farrah is passionate about helping individuals embrace their authentic selves and navigate life with confidence, resilience, and compassion. In addition to her work with adults, Farrah incorporates therapeutic play with children. She holds a Rocky Mountain Play Institute certification in therapeutic play for children impacted by separation and divorce. She integrates creative and child-centered approaches to support emotional expression, coping skills, and resilience. Farrah believes in each individual’s inherent capacity for growth and healing. Her approach is culturally sensitive, trauma-informed, and strength-based, drawing from evidence-based practices such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Person-Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused Therapy.
