Counselling and Group Programs for neurodivergent teens & young adults
Supporting autistic and ADHD youth with emotional regulation, social connection, executive functioning, and real-life skills
Current Service Offerings
A small group for neurodivergent teens where they build conversation skills and confidence through hands-on, real-life practice. Teens learn how to start conversations, keep them going, read social cues, handle awkward moments, and navigate everyday social interactions in a way that feels natural and authentic to them.
We work on things like
All in a space that is supportive, low pressure, and neurodivergent friendly. This group is about giving teens tools, confidence, and space to be themselves while connecting with others.
Spots are limited, and a minimum of 4 participants is required to run the group. Reach out for details, fees, or using OAP funding.
Teen Scene Peer Support and Recreation Group (Age Range: 13 to 18 years)
Designed for Neurodivergent youth and young adults, including those with ASD, ADHD, or other neurodivergent identities, who are interested in meeting new people and practicing social skills in a supportive group setting.
Teen Scene is best suited for participants who are able to engage in group activities with minimal support and facilitator guidance, can participate safely in a group environment without current safety concerns that may place themselves or others at risk, and are willing to follow group guidelines such as respectful communication, turn taking, and participating in ways that feel comfortable for them. Participants should also be motivated to attend and take part in the group experience.
Virtual coaching sessions for Young Adults and Teens
1:1 virtual coaching meeting provides warm, personalized support from the comfort of your own space. Through accessible video meetings, we begin with a quick check-in and then work together to identify priorities, break goals into manageable steps, and build practical strategies. Clients receive clear guidance, structure, and encouragement in a safe, neuro-affirming space.
Common skill-building areas include:
Executive functioning: task initiation, planning, organization, and time management
Emotional regulation: coping strategies, understanding triggers, and building resilience
Social communication: friendships, conversations, conflict resolution, and boundaries
Independent living skills: routines, hygiene, meal planning, and budgeting
School and work readiness: workload management, self-advocacy, and communication skills
Confidence and identity: self-trust, strengths-based growth, and neurodiversity-affirming support
Caregiver Coaching:
Caregiver Coaching offers practical, neuro-affirming support for parents and caregivers of neurodivergent teens and young adults. These meetings focus on building understanding, confidence, and realistic strategies to support communication, emotional regulation, independence, and daily challenges. Coaching is collaborative, strengths-based, and tailored to your family’s values and goals. It can be accessed on its own or alongside individual or group support for youth.
Counselling/coaching helps teens and young adults gain clarity, build insight, and create a plan to move from where they are now toward the future they want. I provide non-judgmental guidance within a supportive and encouraging environment.
Together, we identify what matters most and focus on the day-to-day actions that support personal goals. Larger goals are broken down into small, manageable steps to make progress feel achievable and motivating.
I build accountability in a way that feels supportive and collaborative, while taking time to recognize effort and celebrate progress. As a counsellor/coach, I offer encouragement, guidance, and motivation, helping individuals understand what may be getting in the way, recognize their strengths, and stay engaged in the process.
When needed, I collaborate with clinical services to ensure support remains safe, thoughtful, and well coordinated. My approach blends skill-building with meaningful social opportunities. Programs are flexible, accessible, and designed to complement other supports.
I believe growth, friendship, and fun should go hand in hand. Every young person deserves the chance to thrive and enjoy the journey along the way.
