Kristina Wilder is a psychologist practicing in Ontario who offers therapy to adults through virtual sessions
I enjoy working with people to help them understand and better their own lives. Therapy is a team effort as we collaborate to manage the challenges people face. Through therapy, we work to craft healthier habits and ways of thinking, moving past approaches that no longer (or maybe never did) work for us. I will work with you on those changes to help make the difficulties you face easier to overcome.
I work with individual adults (ages 18-65) with a variety of challenges, including anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and work stresses. I aim to create a safe space for all, including Indigenous People and people who are neurodiverse, disabled, LGBTQIA2S+, and who are ethnically or racially diverse.
I have been practicing in Canada for over 10 years. I earned my PhD in Clinical Psychology at St. John’s University in New York. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), borrowing techniques from REBT, DBT, and mindfulness.
