Welcome! — I’m Lori‑Ann. I’m a social worker and counsellor with over eight years of experience supporting women* across diverse social service settings. I bring practical expertise and a calm, compassionate presence to every session, and I’m here to help you find healing, clarity, and forward momentum.
From Jamaica and now living in Canada, I draw on both my personal journey and professional training to support women* navigating the impacts of domestic and intimate partner violence and sometimes with the layering of being an immigrant to this country.
I know how brave it is to reach out for help or support of any kind, and I’m committed to walking alongside you with respect, safety, and care.
My approach is hope‑based and solution‑focused. Each session is tailored to your needs, blending therapeutic support and practical strategies so you can move toward a future that feels possible and meaningful.
Life coaching with me is collaborative and gentle yet purposeful: we’ll explore your goals, reconnect with your strengths, and take intentional steps toward the life you want—whether you’re facing a major transition, rebuilding confidence, or simply seeking direction.
The Butterfly Park aims to be a safe, welcoming space for women* on their healing journey. With compassionate trauma support, mental health, and life changes, while helping you build coping skills and find community.
At the heart of our work is a belief in the power of self‑love: we encourage you to embrace your worth, celebrate your strengths, and nurture your well‑being.
You are not alone—if you’re ready to heal, grow, and reclaim your life, I would be honoured to support you with empathy, respect, and practical guidance.
