At Empower & Connect Pediatric OT, I am committed to a neurodiversity-affirming approach, working in collaboration and partnership with children and their families. I believe that every child deserves to thrive in an environment that honors their strengths, interests, and abilities.
Rather than focusing on interventions that seek to change a child to fit into a neurotypical mold, I provide support that allows them to be their true selves. My goal is not just to help children navigate the world but also to educate and empower the people and environments around them, creating inclusive spaces where they feel accepted, valued, and belong.
Through a family-centered approach, I work alongside caregivers to develop individualized strategies that support their child's unique needs in ways that align with their values, interests, and daily life. At Empower & Connect Pediatric OT, I recognize that true progress happens when children feel safe, understood, and supported—not by changing who they are, but by creating a world where they are embraced for exactly who they are.
