Tong Tong is a Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCC) and Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) (RP(Q)) with a Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology. She provides counselling in English and Mandarin, offering virtual sessions across most Canadian provinces and in-person sessions in Calgary.
Tong supports clients experiencing anxiety, stress, depression, relationship and family challenges, self-esteem concerns, anger management, trauma, and life transitions. She also has experience working with newcomers navigating cultural adjustment and identity changes.
Her approach integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)-informed skills, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), and trauma-informed care. Tong aims to create a warm, respectful, and culturally sensitive space where clients feel understood and supported in developing practical skills and meaningful change.
