🌿 Welcome
I offer virtual and in-person therapy across Alberta and other Canadian provinces.
🧡 Who I Support
I often work with people navigating:
Trauma and PTSD
Anxiety and depression
Stress and burnout
Grief and loss
Relationship and family concerns
Life transitions and adjustment
ADHD, OCD, and other mental health concerns
🌼 My Approach
I work with people who are tired of feeling stuck and want things to be different, even if they’re not sure where to start.
I’m caring, but also honest and real. In our sessions, you don’t have to pretend to be okay. We go at your pace and focus on what matters most to you.
Together, we might:
Talk about what’s been happening and how it’s affecting you
Notice your thoughts, feelings, and body reactions
Look at old patterns that keep repeating
Learn tools to help you cope, calm your body, and feel more in control
Build more self-compassion instead of constant self-blame
I also take time to explain what’s going on in your brain and body, so your reactions start to feel more understandable and less like “something is wrong with me.”
🧩 How I Work (Therapy Tools)
I use a mix of approaches, depending on what fits you and your goals:
EMDR: Helps process overwhelming or traumatic experiences so they feel less intense and less “stuck.”
Attachment-based work: Looks at how early relationships shape how you see yourself and relate to others now.
DBT (Dialectical Behaviour Therapy): Practical skills for managing emotions, reducing impulsive reactions, and improving communication and boundaries.
Parts / inner child work (IFS-informed): Getting to know different “parts” of you (like the critic, the protector, younger hurt parts) and helping them feel safer and more understood.
Polyvagal-informed work: Understanding how your nervous system reacts to stress (fight, flight, freeze, or shut down) and learning ways to come back to a steadier place.
Coherence Therapy: Exploring the deeper emotional “logic” behind your patterns, so change can happen at the root.
My goal is for you to understand yourself better, treat yourself with more kindness, and have practical tools you can use in daily life.
