Martin Wilfred Psychotherapy

10 Crosthwaite Avenue South, Hamilton, Ontario, L8K2T8, Canada

Hi there, welcome to Martin Wilfred Psychotherapy.

A space to pause, reflect, and begin understanding yourself with greater clarity and compassion.

I offer therapy that is thoughtful, collaborative, and grounded in both insight and practical change. Our work together may involve exploring emotional patterns, relational dynamics, life transitions, and experiences that have felt difficult to make sense of on your own. We may also look at protective responses, inner narratives, and ways of coping that once helped you survive but may now be limiting your growth.

Part of therapy is learning how to better understand and name what is happening internally, because clarity often creates more room for intentional change. I believe meaningful work happens when you feel understood and gently supported, while also being invited to reflect more deeply. My sessions are conversational, engaged, and tailored to your unique needs.

I support individuals and couples navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, addiction, relationship difficulties, grief, emotional overwhelm, self-esteem concerns, spiritual questions, and life transitions. I take an integrative and individualized approach to therapy, drawing from CBT, ACT, DBT, MI and SFBT informed skills, I also involve Internal Family Systems informed work along with spiritually integrated therapeutic approaches when desired.

If this resonates with you, we can begin with a free 15-minute consultation call.
