Prairie Blossom Counselling & Wellness
A grounded space to pause, reflect, reconnect, and explore.
Counselling can be helpful when life feels difficult, but it can also be a space to explore, gain greater self-understanding, navigate change, or simply feel heard and supported. You don't need to have everything figured out. Together, we can explore what matters to you at a pace that feels right, with curiosity, care, and without judgment.
I use a person-centred, attachment-based and integrative approach, drawing on evidence-based practices and thoughtfully integrating mindfulness, coping strategies, skill-building, and gentle body-based practices according to each client's needs and goals.
Areas of Support
I offer individual counselling for adolescents and adults, including support with:
- Grief and loss
- Life transitions and significant changes
- Women's mental health and midlife transitions
- Stress and self-esteem
- Separation and relationship changes
- Emotional well-being
- Personal growth and self-exploration
About Sheridan
I’m Sheridan Vinci, M.Ed., CCC, a Canadian Certified Counsellor and the founder of Prairie Blossom Counselling & Wellness.
Alongside my counselling practice, I have extensive experience supporting children, adolescents, and families within the school system, as well as the lived experience of raising my three children who are now young adults. These experiences, along with my personal life experiences, have deepened my understanding of the many transitions, relationships, challenges, and changes that shape our lives. Life does not always unfold as we imagined, and I understand how meaningful it can be to have a supportive space to be present with where you area, navigate what you are experiencing and create space for what comes next.
I believe meaningful counselling begins with connection and feeling genuinely heard. My goal is to provide a supportive, respectful space where you can explore what matters most to you, develop greater self-awareness, and move toward meaningful change.
Outside of my counselling work, I cherish time with my children and family and find grounding and renewal through mindfulness, yoga, staying active, and spending time tending to my beloved prairie flower gardens. My gardens have become a meaningful reminder of the patience, care, and conditions that allow growth to unfold—values I carry with me into my work with clients.
