Therapy for the work of returning to who you are—and who you’re becoming.
Sometimes life gets so busy or overwhelming that parts of us slip into the background. We go on autopilot, push through, and maybe notice an ache we can’t quite name. Therapy is a chance to pause, check in, and listen to yourself more clearly.
I work with people moving through things like grief, anxiety, burnout, trauma—or just the confusing process of figuring out who you are and what you need. My style is steady and down-to-earth. We’ll take it one step at a time, at your pace, toward a kind of healing that feels honest and true to you.
This work is not about "fixing" you. You're not broken.
It’s about getting your voice back, making peace with what’s inside, and finding more space to live fully.
Thank you for letting me join you in your healing. A little about me...
First and foremost, I want to meet and connect with you as a person. Putting yourself in this position of vulnerability and openness can be so difficult, and I am honoured to be a part of your journey. I know therapy can feel intimidating or even a little weird at first — that’s normal. My job is to make it feel like a real conversation, not an interrogation. I want to be a witness and collaborator in helping you figuring out how to live in a way that actually feels like you, without all the guilt or second-guessing by providing a non-judgmental and shame-free space. This means working together to create real change, honouring you where you are at with honesty, openness and warmth and fostering a positive relationship between you and your emotions.
I am especially interested in sex therapy and have some experience working in this field. I understand the difficulty of coming to terms with these taboo topics when you might not have a space to explore them in your personal life and I want to be a space where all your questions and issues are welcomed. I bring a trauma-informed, culturally humble and sex positive attitude to our work together to ensure that you’re able to fully explore and express your curiosity or concerns without judgment. I draw from my own and professional experience to address other topics as well such as: cultural identity and intergenerational experiences, life transitions and change, relationship issues, gender identity and expression, LGBTQ2IA+ affirming support and others! Let's connect and discuss what the perfect therapy process looks like for you.
I take a lot of inspiration from narrative therapy in my work with clients and believe that you know your life better than anyone else — my role is to help you look at it from new angles and ask the questions that move things forward. I am here to collaborate and support you in your journey by creating a dedicated space for you to explore and provide thought-provoking questions for guidance, as opposed to directing the choices you should make. I also work through an anti-oppressive framework to help you connect with yourself beyond the negative cultural messaging that may have shaped (or hurt) you.
Outside of therapy, I’m a singer, actor and writer. I love creating short stories and songs in my free time and playing video games to unwind (I'm a sucker for an open world RPG but don't hit me with Dark Souls, I'm a casual gamer at best and WILL get frustrated and rage quit). Wherever possible, I find opportunities to perform and grow both as an artist and a person.
I also want to acknowledge that who I am and where I come from shapes how I see the world and practice therapy. I am a Vietnamese queer, cis-gender woman living and learning on unceded, ancestral, and occupied, traditional lands of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Səl̓ílwətaʔ (Tsleil-Watuth), Stó:lō, Shíshálh (Sechelt) and Skwxwú7mesh (Squamish) Nations of the Coast Salish peoples.
