Lynn Valley Care Centre values the integral role family play in the life of our residents and it's committed to encourage safe visitations, as much as possible. Visiting loved ones is guided by Provincial and Local Public Health officers. The rules and guidelines may change to accommodate our care home needs.
VISITING HOURS:
MONDAY – SUNDAY
9am – 7pm
Closed for Lunch: 12pm – 1pm
VISITATION GUIDELINES:
With lifting of restrictions by Public Health, "in room visits" don't have to be pre-booked and visitors can feel free to come in anytime during regular visiting hours.
However, we are encouraging families who want to take loved ones for social outings, to go upstairs and pick their loved ones up, and when returning them to LVCC - to bring them back to their rooms. This will be much appreciated help for all nurses and care staff especially when outing coincides with meal times or staff shift changes.
For all afterhours outings/returns, families are responsible for taking loved ones as well returning them back to their rooms. Please note that after 5pm, we only have a security guard who cannot leave the reception area and is not responsible for bringing residents from or to the floors.
All outings for medical appointments as well as outings for bedridden residents need to be pre-booked in advance directly with nursing stations, so resident can be properly prepared for the outing.
The booking software will be phased out by end of July 2023, however you can always email reception@nsph.caor call 604-982-3719 in the future and we will notify the nursing stations about specific outings or your requests.
