For 19 years I have been privileged to journey with people as they navigate some of the most challenging times in their lives. I genuinely care about clients' unique stories, and how they seek to understand them. I work with a collaborative, compassionate, non-judgmental approach, and strive to build a safe space where you can create a life that is meaningful for you.
My approach to counselling reflects the belief that even in life’s most difficult landscapes, there is strength within you and the ability to live a life of meaning, growth, and renewal.

I have 19 years of experience supporting individuals and couples navigating grief and loss, chronic illness, caregiver stress, and relationship issues. I also work with anxiety, medical trauma, addictions, and family of origin concerns.
Significant life changes can result in the loss of the future you once imagined, and with chronic illness, death of a loved one, and relationship loss, this is particularly true. Living with chronic illness or loss can bring layers of uncertainty, frustration, and fatigue that may not be visible to others. In therapy, there is space for all of it — the fear, the anger, the resilience, and the hope. For caregivers, I offer support around burnout, guilt, shifting family roles, and the challenge of caring deeply for someone who lives with a life altering condition.
I also work with couples navigating the strain that illness, trauma, or loss can place on a relationship. Medical crises and caregiving responsibilities can alter roles, communication patterns, and intimacy. Together, we create space to strengthen connection, improve communication, and move through these changes.
My approach is relational, compassionate, collaborative, and grounded in evidence-based practices. I draw from Narrative Therapy to help you make meaning of your experiences and reclaim your voice, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to support values-based living even in the presence of suffering, Systemic Family Therapy to understand relational patterns and dynamics, and Mindfulness based practices to increase your capacity to recognize and respond effectively to your experiences . Therapy is tailored to your unique story, strengths, and goals.
Whether you are grieving losses, seeking to understand past experiences, adjusting to a diagnosis, supporting a loved one with a chronic illness or addiction, or carrying the invisible weight of trauma, our work together can help you find meaning by discovering how you can align with what you value most.
