Can I sell products on the same invoice as a session?
Yes. Products are invoice line items with their own price and taxes. Add them next to the appointment and the stock is updated when the invoice is saved.
How is the stock count kept accurate?
Each sale and each delivery is recorded as a movement linked to its invoice. The current stock is the sum of these movements and can be recalculated at any time. Colib does not send low-stock alerts.
Can clients buy gift certificates online?
Yes. Your online shop lets clients pick a gift card, voucher or package, pay by card and receive the certificate and its code by email.
Can a certificate be used over several appointments?
Yes. The code can be entered at online booking or applied on an invoice; only the amount used is deducted. The remaining balance stays on the certificate until it is spent or expires.
Do gift certificates expire?
Only if you set an expiry date. Check the rules of your province before setting one, as several provinces restrict expiry dates on gift cards.
How do I account for unused certificates?
The liabilities report lists remaining certificate balances and unused package credits for any period, which is what your accountant needs for deferred revenue.
